Positive Behaviour LSA

  • Mainstream School with SEND Students from (Year7-Year9)
  • Based in Wandsworth
  • Full-Time

Empowering Learning are currently recruiting for a Behaviour Mentor to work within a Secondary School (Mainstream) with students that require additional support and coaching with behaviour.

Due to the pandemic a lot of people suffered including students who need that additional help. Compassion and structure are key to support students who have not adapted quite well.


Responsibilities:


  • Supporting pupils with SEMH
  • Supervising pupil's behaviour
  • Encourage and support the pupils learning and development
  • Support social interaction
  • Helping the teacher prepare for lessons and plan activities
  • Counselling skills
  • Sensitivity and understanding.
  • Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations

Job Requirements

  • Experience of support children or adults with SEMH
  • Experience supporting children with learning difficulties or disabilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Available 5 days a week
  • Basic Admin Computer literate skills
  • Able to commit to 612 months
