Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Assistant to work with an amazing NHS organisation based in Essex on a temporary basis.
Our client is seeking someone to be responsible for the coordinator/planning of OD interventions and the analysis and presentation of OD data/information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the senior OD partner in coordination / planning interventions relating to organisational culture, talent management and change management initiatives
- Support the development of a positive performance management culture that delivers improved organisational performance and effectiveness
- Support the senior OD partner in developing solutions from the NHS Staff Survey.
- Ensure all OD interventions are evaluated effectively
- Support the design of a range of tools and methodologies which support staff development and complement service improvement, embedding good practice across the Trust
- Act as a role model by maintaining credibility within the Trust, the wider healthcare community and external agencies, ensuring a positive image of the Trust is maintained
- Demonstrate effective leadership skills when working within services and with individuals, to ensure that staff and teams make sustainable changes to improve services, and/or develop new skills
- Participate in project groups providing the appropriate level OD information, expertise and advice
- Ensure compliance with Trust policies, procedures and guidelines for self and others, by taking action/alerting the senior OD partner if practice appears to contravene policy, or if concerned about any aspect of customer/service user care
- Take responsibility for own learning and development by recognising and taking advantage of all opportunities to learn, including full participation in appraisal, supervision, action learning and by maintaining a professional/personal portfolio of learning
Skills Required:
- Experience of coordinating / planning the delivery of a range of OD or learning projects/interventions to deliver improved outcomes
- Experience of developing and delivering OD or learning plans and tools
- Experience of analysing and presenting data
- Experience of supporting the writing and presenting of papers/reports
- Knowledge of organisational development gained in an HR function
- Excellent interpersonal skills in order to develop and maintain positive and effective internal and external working relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective organisational skills in order to manage own workload, prioritise and delegate work to meet deadlines and targets
- Effective negotiation skills to provide a range of options for dealing with problem resolution together with the ability to demonstrate
