Job DescriptionGeneral Summary:
This role is responsible for supporting the Authorised Treatment Centres activation process for international and developing the associated enablers
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supports the Senior Director, Commercial, Hemoglobinopathies with coordination and production of materials to support activation of Authorized Treatment Centres
- Leverages primary and secondary research, as well as existing plans and insights to inform these materials
- Collaborates with country team members to obtain input on development of these materials and ensure aligned implementation in countries
- Collaborates with internal Legal, Medical, and Regulatory partners to ensure timely delivery of effective, compliant materials to country teams
- Collaborates with Vertex external communications review committee to approve materials for external use with customers
- Develops strong partnerships with crossfunctional team to support business goals
- Ensures appropriate metrics are in place to measure impact of tactics in field
Knowledge and Skills:
- Direct experience with communications review committee for review of tactics focusing on ATC activation
- Haematology, Hemoglobinopathies, cell and/or genetic therapy experience
- Strong analytical mindset to lead others to solve complex problems
- Experience in pharmaceutical marketing or closely related field(s) (e.g., pharmaceutical sales, ad agency, etc.)
- Experienced in contributing to and influencing crossfunctional teams, including interfacing with key internal and external stakeholders with scientific and commercial teams
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage initiatives that require collaboration across multiple functional areas
- An entrepreneurial spirit and an ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems
- Hands on approach, can do attitude and focus on delivery
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or scientific degree
- Typically requires significant work experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience
