Duration of Post Permanent

Work Commitment 32.50 hours per week (Monday to Friday 8.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. with a

30-minute unpaid lunch break) Term time only

Start Date As soon as possible

Salary Range Level 2 SCP 5-6 (£21, £21,968.00 Gross FTE)

depending on experience and qualifications

Gorefield Primary Academy seek to appoint an inspirational, dedicated, enthusiastic and caring 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our experienced team.


We are looking for someone with relevant experience who will bring enthusiasm and a commitment to children's learning to our happy and friendly school.

We are a small village school with the clear understanding that everyone is a learner. We engage with families and the community to improve aspirations for all.


Every day you will be assisting in teaching language, literacy and numeracy helping the class reach the early learning goals of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, along with encouraging good behavior.

The Diamond Learning Partnership Trust is a charitable multi-academy trust specialising in the Primary sector. We are building a thriving community of schools that succeed on behalf of their children. The Family of Academies within the Trust currently incorporates two hubs; St Neots and The Fenlands.


The St Neots hub has eight academies; Middlefield, Winhills, The Round House, Great Staughton, Kimbolton Roman Way Braybrook and Wintringham.

The Fenlands hub has four academies; Thomas Eaton, Glebelands, Leverington, and Gorefield.

  • The ability to manage classes well and deal with low level challenging behaviour;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Have a good understanding of the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum and expectations
  • Patience and a good sense of humour.
