We are a busy fresh cut fruit factory, looking for a Warehouse Operatives on Day Shift

Days of work:
Sunday - Wednesday OR Wednesday to Saturday

Hours of work: 05:00 - 17:00

Pay:
starting at
£11.34 per hour (level 1), climbing to
£12.08 per hour (level 2), and then
£12.39 per hour (level 3)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Working to support the Stock Team to ensure that the fruit is unloaded from incoming Lorries Checked and intake on to the SI system.

The Fruit will then be allocated to the appropriate chillers so it can be picked and assembled ready to supply Production.

Ensure that incoming fruit is first checked against packing list, managing and escalating any discrepancies as required and communicating regularly with the intake QC team to ensure fruit is correctly transferred, stored and delivered.

MAIN DUTIES:

To drive and handle all MHE equipment in a respectful, controlled, and safe manner ensuring all start up documents are filled in correctly
Moving of pallets/stock around the warehouse in a safe and controlled manner
Unload delivery vehicles that arrive on site in a safe and controlled manner following all intake processes.
Take ownership of delivery note and ensure these are signed and passed onto the area Supervisor/Team leader
Understand how to read the picking lists/plans to identify correct stocks needed for production
Pick and supply fruit in advance according to the daily plans and supply to the Low Risk Ramp in preparation for production

Who are we looking for:

MUST hold a current valid FLT/PPT certification
Excellent timekeeping and reliability
Good level of English communication skills (Speaking, Writing, and Listening)
Show good teamwork skills and be able to work/liaise together to ensure team goals/objectives are successfully achieved
Experience in Warehouse work is compulsory
