To develop a portfolio of new brands.
To mobilise both new concepts and new franchise brands.
Drive better commercial value from existing new concepts through constant improvement.


What You'll Be Doing:


  • Support the Mobilisation Manager in the successful implementation of new concepts, from concept inception through to the first few months of trading as an operational and commercial unit.
  • Support the Mobilisation Manager on creating food and drink concepts from fruition to completion to include, menu development, packaging solutions, commercial modelling, operational/brand guidelines, merchandising of store and all other collateral related to successful delivery.
  • Ensure all projects are running to a designated critical path, briefing timelines to cross functional teams and ensuring budgets are being adhered to.
  • Work with the NPD team on development of food and drink menus through managing the process of following the brief from the original vision through to execution, ensuring all relevant commercial modelling is done along the way.
  • Liaise with brand partners where necessary to execute franchise brands within the portfolio.
  • Delivery of brand manuals for all new concepts to maintain brand standards
  • Prepare and submit briefs to access marketing services such as NPD, creative design, marketing planning and brand development which are provided by the Group Marketing function
  • Track progress of briefs and ensure delivery to time and budget
  • Once a new brand is signed off, ensure successful implementation through operational teams
  • Support the delivery of range, pricing and POS for new openings
  • Monitor competitor activity (new products, promotions and pricing) on a regular basis to support commercial proposals and highlight any opportunities to the Head of Marketing Services & Mobilisation
  • Respond to ad hoc brand queries from operational, and cross functional teams within a timely manner
  • Sourcing packaging and crockery for all new concepts

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Essential -_
  • Extremely strong organisational skills required for running projects, liaising cross functionally and working under challenging time pressures.
  • Proven track record of having blended creative marketing skills with strong commercial ability.
  • Some experience of using price, range, display and space, upselling, margin or category optimisation to deliver commercial results
  • Knowledge of external trends in the food and beverage and/or grocery industry (depending on brands allocated)
  • Good understanding of the operational reality in units, for example, a good understanding of waste management and minimisation, labour planning and optimisation, equipment, space and layout etc.
  • Proficient user of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and brand and category management systems
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Flexible and adaptable approach
  • Ability to work at pace and effectively prioritise competing demands on time
