Reed Scientific is working with a company who specialise in the conduction of studies required to optimise the development and regulatory approval of customers products in the agrochemical and associated industries.
As part of their current growth they have a new role for Chemical Analysts to work within their Residue Analysis, Ecotoxicology and Product Chemistry team at their site based in Essex.
Their talented and highly regarded team, work in modern, well-equippedlaboratories developing complex analytical methods in support of their field residue and stability studies using LC-MS/MS or GC/MS chromatographic techniques.
They are committed to providing a developmental progression path for all employees within a flexible, result-orientated workplace.Core Responsibilities
Develop, optimize and validate analytical methods which will provide the sensitivity and robustness needed for analysis of a wide range of sample matrices.
Develop skills in the use of modern and highly automated chromatographic techniques such as LC-MS/MS and GC/MS in a Good Laboratory Practice compliant facility.
Homogenise, extract, clean-up and analyse crop and soil samples to determine the levels of residual pesticides.Review analytical and laboratory data within the team for accuracy, completeness and compliance following documented procedures.
Requirements:
3 to 5 years' experience in industry
Hands on experience with HPLC and GC-MS techniques
Experience of GMP or GLP
