About Our Client:
Page Personnel are recruiting for a Part Time Finance Assistant to join a company based in Skipton.
This company work within the Leisure Industry and are recruiting for a part time finance assistant to join their team on a part time basis.
This will be covering 3 full days a week, and will be office based during these working times.- Working with Sage 200 for all accounting operations (sales and purchase ledger)
- Bank reconciliations
- Payroll and updating records for HMRC
- Processing VAT returns
- Processing information for payment runs
- Bank payments and updating records for HMRC
- Daily upkeep of purchase and sales ledger across three separate companies.
- Overseeing : Credit card reconciliation
- Overseeing : Processing of petty cash in and out
- Overseeing: Processing of Sales invoices
- Overseeing: purchase orders and credit card spend.
- Creating and maintaining Excel spread sheets
- Attend departmental meetings as required
- Providing support to the Head of Finance and Senior Management as directed
- Demonstrating and maintaining a high level of trustworthiness and confidentiality
- Performing any other duties which may be appropriate to the position
The Successful Applicant:
- Finance Assistant or Purchase Ledger/Sales Ledger experience
- The ability to work under pressure and produce quick and accurate financial information
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent Excel knowledge and experience
- Sage knowledge and experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
What's on Offer:
- £24,000 - £26,000 pro rata
- 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
