Reed Business Support are assisting our clients in their search for Customer Service Advisors to join the team based in Christchurch.

The client, a global insurance provider are looking for people to join their team on a permanent basis starting in March.

The roles are hybrid working 2/3 days in office per week, working a mixture of shifts on a rota system.

Part time hours are available and full training is provided.

The role will include;

  • Assessing claims in line with policy terms and conditions to ensure valid claims are paid quickly.
  • Providing an empathetic approach to all customers
  • Identifying opportunities to recover money from other insurers and fraudulent claims during initial conversations
  • Managing own caseload, ensuring claims are dealt with in an accurate and timely manner and your tasks are prioritised appropriately.
  • Previous experience in a customer service environment
  • Excellent communication skills, spoken, written and verbal
  • Resilience, be customer focussed and empathetic
  • Strong IT skills, with the ability to learn and use new systems
  • Ability to prioritise cases as well as multitask between calls and file management.
