Description

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement ageappropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the early years
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
  • Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through playbased learning
  • Observe and assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
  • Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
  • Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones
  • Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns

Requirements:


  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education preferred
  • Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children

Salary:
£10.90-£11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
