The opportunity


At EY, the Senior Customer Consultant will work alongside and report to Managers and Senior Managers to coordinate and manage countries across the EY network to ensure Global Mobility services are delivered and that agreed KPIs/SLAs are met in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

You will provide administration support to global teams and provide a first-class customer service experience to our clients and internal stakeholders.

The role is inclusive of both globally coordinated accounts and UK Tax compliance engagements supporting the non-technical elements of compliance.

In this client-facing role you'll hold key responsibilities for day-to-day account operations and engage directly with client mobility contacts.


Your key responsibilities
In your role as Senior Consultant, you will have responsibility for:

  • Day to day client relationship contact and delivery of positive relationships with EY stakeholders and Teams
  • Supervision of the day to day delivery of services & reporting within the parameters of a detailed scope of services and service level agreement against agreed KPIs & SLAs
  • Support Management with the resolution of client service issues
  • Support Management with the financial performance of a client portfolio, including billing support
  • Support Management with the development of each client engagement within a portfolio through proactive advice on enhancements to processes and engagement improvements
  • Coaching, training and development of direct reports on the provision of firstclass tax administration support and an exceptional customer service experience

To qualify for the role,
you must have:

  • Proven administration and customer service experience across a range of coordination and/or compliance projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple key stakeholders, internal and external
  • Understanding of compliance processes and services
  • Proven experience and track record in engagement operations
  • Proven experience of supervisory responsibility

Ideally, you might
also have:


  • Experience in a shared service centre, call centre, operational delivery centre or similar
  • Inhouse mobility or Big 4 experience
  • Markets experience
  • Compensation knowledge
  • Enhanced technology skills
