Grade 5 Point 7-8.

32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Fixed term until August 2024
Captains Close Primary School have an exciting opportunity for a SEN Learning Support Assistant within Captains Nest. This is a varied role and we are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual.

We are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and highly motivated SEN Learning Support Assistant to support with 1:1 and group interventions.

We are looking for someone who is committed to improving outcomes for all of our children, along with a passion for providing inspirational learning experiences.

Do you have experience of working with SEN pupils and could make a difference through a variety of strategies and interventions?

We are looking for someone who has:

NVQ 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent.
Knowledge of child protection and health and safety procedures.
Good interpersonal skills.
Empathy with children and young people.
Knowledge and experience of dealing with children with a range of SEND.
Experience of working as a Teaching Assistant (or equivalent) supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
