Design Engineer
We are looking for a self-motivated, innovative Design Engineer for our client based in Wisbech. They are specialist manufacturers and are looking for a Design Engineer ideally with a background within the manufacturing sector.


You will be working within the Product development team, reporting to the Technical Director and supporting the manufacturing department as well as providing technical support to customers and dealers at busy times of the year.


Responsibilities:


  • You will be using your CAD Design skills to enhance and develop the existing range of products
  • CAM support for the manufacturing department
  • Provide technical support for dealers and customers
  • Writing and updating product documentation inline with the relevant compliance standards
  • Where required you will be attending and visiting exhibition events, dealers, and customers

Person Specification

  • Competent in the use of CAD (Solidworks preferably)
  • Experience creating Manufacturing drawings
  • A high level of mechanical and engineering knowledge
  • Experience in sheet metal work and design
  • Experience working with CAM systems

Hours of Work, Pay, and Benefits

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8am to 5pm
  • Up to £35,000
  • 25 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays
