Description

At Securitas we guard and protect a variety of clients across the globe, ranging from banks, retail chains, leisure venues and corporate offices.

We are looking for an experienced Security professional to join us as a Security Supervisor.
-
Working Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week:

SIA essential

Your responsibilities will include:

Develop, monitor and update the Security Technician site visit routes.
Manage the Security mailbox and allocate tasks to the Security Technicians.
Centrally collate information pertaining to Security Technician annual leave/sickness and monthly reports. Rostering and forward planning.
Produce reports relating to security events, trends and activity.
Conduct physical site security checks in the absence of the Security Technicians.
Deliver training on security systems (following the required Train the Trainer training.
Maintaining positive employee relations and ensuring coaching, counselling and any investigations are implemented in line with company policy.
Monitoring and managing the appearance and behaviours of all Security personnel.
Encourage staff recognition and staff nominations for awards.
All incidents are reported in compliance with customer and company policy and procedures.
Monitor faults with security related equipment, ensuring they are reported correctly.
Be fully conversant with operational functions including Access Control, CCTV, Detection and Alarm Systems.
Participate in any arranged company training to improve standards of performance.
To be the first point of contact on their shift for security function related queries.

Essential Skills:

Right to work in the UK with a 5year checkable history
SIA license
Full UK driving license
Must be computer literate with experience with all Microsoft Office packages
Security experience
Strong team player with excellent communication skills and customer focus
