The starting salary for this position is £46,634 per annum based on a 36 hour working week.

Over the past 12 months an extensive piece of work has been carried out alongside partners in Surrey, to develop a brand and toolkit as well as Our Surrey Story book - showcasing the many hidden treasures the county has to offer.

Our Surrey Story has startedto gain widespread recognition in terms of the potential it offers as an umbrella brand and we are now looking for someone to lead the next stage of this progressive work for Surrey.


Working as part of Surrey County Council's corporate communications team and building upon strong collaboration with influential businesses, groups, and projects such as Visit Surrey and Invest in Surrey, Our Surrey Story aims to highlight, support, andelevate their work.

The success of this programme relies heavily on a strong network of partners continuing to feed into it, advocating and promoting it in their own spaces and across their networks.

We believe strong partnership work will be key to successfullyestablishing it and bringing it to life.

**Behind the scenes
**We're not looking for a protagonist because Our Surrey Story is a collaboration between stakeholders, with each providing a different piece of the jigsaw. The day-to-day role of the Senior Marketing Manager is to work with partners in a dynamic way to maximisethe awareness, reach, impact and potential of the story and brand in support of the County's shared ambitions and objectives for the economy, people and place. With a comprehensive strategic understanding of current opportunities and with an extensive networkin place, you'll be well placed to drive this programme of work forward whilst bringing others with you on that journey. Not forgetting your innovative marketing methods and best practice, which should complement your programme management skills.
