Description
A professional services business is seeking to add a Finance Manager to their finance team.

As Finance Manager you will be responsible for the financial health of the firm, monitoring the day-to-day financial operations, identifying areas for improvementand providing insightful information to senior management.


In more detail, this will involve:

  • Preparation of the Management Accounts on a monthly basis including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash flow, Variance and KPI reporting
  • Debt Collection in consultation with Litigation partner
  • Maintaining the integrity of the accounting data through to production of trial balance including:
  • Client accounts: Resolving ledger queries, Client to Office account transfers in accordance with Solicitors Accounts Rules
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Prepare and review budgets and forecasts.
  • Manage the cash flow position maintaining reserves for known liabilities and arranging loans for major expenditure
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Month end journals


You will be qualified or part qualified accountant with knowledge of current UK GAAP gained through working for a professional services business.

You will be a self-motivated, professional team player with high levels of integrity and accuracy and strong interpersonal skills, comfortable communicating at all levels.
