We have an exciting opportunity for a NDE Chargehand to join our team and learn new skills and experience whilst enhancing those already attained.

The role demands accuracy, diligence, resilience and would suit a self-motivated individual.

Outline of Roles & Responsibilities

Key Duties and Responsibilities (not restricted to):

Organise/schedule NDT Inspectors workload.
Plan shift's holiday working with NDT Inspectors
Ensure best work practices are employed.
Liaise with customer TPI's
Responsible for planning/execution NOI's
Ensure relevant documentation is accurate and provided timely to QA department
Ensure the timely raising of NCR's
Actively promote EHS practices
Participating in continuous improvement groups.
Administering process disciplines.
Manage the optimisation and utilisation of NDT Inspection equipment.
Address lateness and attendance as per the company procedures
Managing absenteeism return to work interviews
Support management conduct effective disciplinary discussions
Manage housekeeping routines and 6S area
Provide NDT services to other parts of the Proclad Group from time to time as required.

Skills Experience and Qualifications
Chargehand shall be qualified as a minimum to the level of PCN Level II.

Magnetic Particle testing MT
Ultrasonic Testing: UT Forgings & Wrought Products Plus 3.1 & 3.2 Weldments
Liquid Penetrant Testing: PT
Visual Inspection VT
Radiographic Interpretation RI
