We have a great opportunity for an Address Data Maintenance Assistant to join our Data Maintenance Team.

As an Address Data Maintenance Assistant, you will work as part of a team responsible for the updating and maintaining of the companies addressing data in UU Address through the use of Locator Hub and UUGIS.

Enabling United Utilities to achieve its commitment to cost efficiency,statutory regulations and quality customer service.


Job Accountabilities:


  • Edit, update and maintain the company's UU locator hub address data accurately to the required company standards.
  • Ensure the accuracy of information, by methodically checking all available systems and associated data sets.
  • Act as a first point of contact with business representatives and suppliers regarding any address queries.
  • Ensure established SLA's are achieved, by managing own workloads to agree timescales, highlighting any which may be at risk and supporting all team members to achieve this aim.
  • To complete the digitisation of new building site layouts in UUGIS.
  • Provide support and training to new and existing staff members.
  • Maintain the integrity of the company's address data through the reconciliation of nonstandard address data with Address based premium address data.
  • Provide support to future system changes by completing such activities as system testing when required.

Knowledge and Skills:


  • Excellent knowledge of the structure, representation and usage of addresses in corporate systems.
  • Clear understanding of Address Base premium address data and its usage in UUAddress.
  • Display a high level of flexibility and willingness to support all areas of the team in order to achieve team and area deadlines.
  • Ability to gather and understand user requirements.
  • Good time management, planning and organisation skills.
  • Delivery focused with high quality work outputs.
  • Good communicating and team working relationships within and across teams.
  • Will be required to work on your own initiative to resolve problems with a minimum of supervision.
  • Plan, prioritise and organise own workload to meet agreed service levels and team objectives.
  • It is essential that there is commitment to maintain accuracy whilst meeting the requirements of Data & Analytics business goals.
