We are looking for another amazing
Teaching Assistant to join our experienced and effective team of twelve Teaching Assistants.


As a new member of our team, you will be working to support a Year 2 child who has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) in place.

In the 20 hours you will be working in school, you will be supporting the child's learning and the personal and emotional development of the child.


We are a one form entry primary school which means we are small enough to know each child as the individual they are.

Our school environment is positive, caring, and inclusive and our children are well behaved and enthusiastic.

We are committed to our staff's future development to enable you to be excellent in your role, and care about your workload and well-being.


We are looking for someone who is willing and able to develop a strong understanding of the child's needs and how to support them, working in partnership with their class teacher, SENDCO and the child's family.


_We are looking for someone who:_

  • Can tap into the huge educational potential of the child and enjoy seeing them fly
  • Can expertly support the child's development and learning educationally, emotionally and socially.
  • Can assist with the planning and preparation of activities and implement provision plans including programmes from outside agencies
  • Enjoys working as part of a team and is able to use their own initiative
  • Has a positive and proactive attitude
  • Has experience of working with children in a primary school or special school setting and, in particular, of working with children with children on the autistic spectrum
  • Can bring ideas, experience, enthusiasm and that little extra to our staff team
  • Is committed to be involved in the wider life of our village school
