Description
STEM Recruitment Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Microbiologist to join a small team in a successful company based in the outskirts of Glasgow.
Role- Routine Microbiological Quality Testing of finished product and sampling/testing water to the current pharmacopoeia
- Routine Laboratory Cleaning and Maintenance
- Routine Environmental Monitoring within the Controlled Manufacturing Environment
- Test method development and validation including equipment
- Maintenance and calibration of instrumentation
- Maintaining stock levels
- Reporting of results
- Provide trending data for Environmental Monitoring
- Oversee reporting, updating documents, projects, additional testing as required
- Manage QPulse development and upkeep for all microbiological activities
Requirements:
- BSc or equivalent in Microbiology, Biology or Life Science discipline
- Minimum 1 years industry experience
- Aseptic Technique and basic plating skills
- Ability to follow and execute SOP's
- Demonstrate knowledge of principles of contamination and cross contamination
- Demonstrate knowledge of maintaining Sterility
- Awareness of GMP/GLP/GDP principles

£24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
