We have partnered with a company who is an international leader in the production of feature stairs of outstanding quality and performance.

They control the entire stair-making and installation process to ensure that our stairs meet the highest internationalquality and safety standards.

They work with many of the leading architects around the world and their projects are typically part of large, high-end commercial fitout schemes.

For this position we are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role or background as an Architectural Designer or Technician.

Responsibilities:

Designing feature staircases from scratch, but predominantly taking an existing design from a leading architect and developing the design to construction
Developing designs to take into consideration aesthetics, buildability, program, budget and sustainability.
Work in conjunction with the project design team whilst liaising with their production facility and installers.
Client communication to ensure that contracts are complied with, and any variations are agreed and captured
Ensure that RFIs are produced correctly promptly to keep projects on schedule
Ensure that the QA procedures are followed to promote best practice
Build and maintain relationships with both the client and external customers
Attend design meetings with the customer and report on progress
