As an In-Store Marketing Executive working in the marketing function, you will manage end to end the delivery of impactful in-store communications for Asda.


Excellent communication skills are essential for this role along with experience working with design and print agencies and/or having experience in a similar marketing role.

As an integral part of the in-store communications team, you'll be responsible for creating and executing compelling POS marketing and experiential campaigns which have the goal of driving basket spend, engage customers, and enhance shopper satisfaction.

In this role you will:


  • Coordinate the delivery of point of sale (POS) and Asda ownlabel initiatives.
  • Use your expertise in marketing to help shape the customer journey, creating impactful retail engagements and driving growth.
  • Support the execution of instore communication packages that drive investment from brands
  • You'll manage all activities through weekly reporting, keeping stakeholders informed and identifying trends.
  • Manage the delivery of instore communications
  • Accountable for writing artwork & print briefs for our agencies to ensure the brief is delivered in the most costefficient way
  • An in depth understanding of the retail market for your business unit / area analysing the competitor's activity, building a knowledge bank that will enable you to effectively plan and design future instore comms.

To excel in this role, you'll need to have:

  • A proven track record of successfully delivering projects/ activities according to a set brief.
  • High attention to detail, highly organised and be detail oriented.
  • Experience training/helping a colleague develop and grow by working closely alongside them.
  • Experience of receiving and reviewing invoices or billings
  • A good level of excel experience and formatting.
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Experience working with pointofsale formats and a good understanding of instore communications.
  • You will have experience working alongside design and print agencies or have experience in a similar marketing role.
