VisionFR is excited to be working with an agency who have a passion for film, find a hands on
Global Financial Controller. The role is responsible for managing the complete Finance Function for the EMEA & APAC offices.

Key Responsibilities of the
Global Financial Controller:

Manage & Train Management Accountant. Oversee Accounts Receivable and Payable
Full preparation of Monthly Management accounts & consolidation across the Group
Monthly variance reporting to budget & earlier years
Assist with annual financial statements
Preparing Cash flow forecast. Preparing yearly, 3 and 5 year Forecasts and Planning
Assist with the annual budgeting process, and track & refine as we develop
Design, manage, format and approve all journals and management accounts
Manage monthly payroll and pensions
Manage VAT/GST quarterly returns (prepared by A/P)
Communicate directly with external accountants & lawyers
Oversee Bank Reconciliation, multicurrency accounts, credit card tracking & postings. As well as, staff expense tracking & posting
Provide staff training on Basic Finance processes
Manage cash flow on daily basis
Work with Business Director to ensure best practices. Provide Ad hoc financial analysis
Weekly KPI reporting. Weekly & Monthly Gross Profit project management with Production
Working closely with the Production team during the budgeting process and throughout the course of a project to ensure margins are maintained
Assist with monthly reporting and data to be reported to the board
Help implement a set of scalable financial and operational controls
Preparation of CT41G & interest certificates

Skills and qualifications of the
Global Financial Controller:

Use to preparing financial information with accuracy and attention to detail
Able to explain finance to non finance staff
Must be a confident communicator
Hands on, organised and calm under pressure
Previous experience in a film/media or similar business would be an advantage
