We at Howard Finley Care are currently recruiting for an experienced Care Home Manager to join our client's Residential Home in the North Barnsley area.

This role is within a 45 bed Residential Home that provides care and support to the Elderly, those withDementia and similar conditions.

The hiring team are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable individual who has prior experience managing a similar service.


Home Manager vacancy details:

- £40,000 to £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

  • Fulltime, permanent employment

Home Manager experience and qualifications:


  • Qualification level 4/ 5 in Leadership and Management/ H&S Care (essential)
  • Previous experience as a Care Home Manager (essential)
  • Turn around experience is desired, but not essential
  • Previous experience being registered to a service is desired
  • Experience working with the Elderly and those with Dementia is essential

Home Manager basic duties:


  • Oversee day to day operations of the service
  • Ensure the home operates in line with the CQC and company guidelines and policies
  • Ensure high quality care is provided for residents by staff
  • Staff appraisals and disciplinaries as required
  • Staff recruitment and retention duties
