Summary:


The Team Leader will lead their teams to ensure production efficiency while aligning strategic goals and tasks with company policies and procedures.

Also, oversee driving EHS improvements and activities.


Core Responsibilities:


  • Deliver DLA meetings.
  • PPE confirmation/consumable spend in line with the budget.
  • Raise and close Deal With it actions to EHS in line with EHS targets.
  • Deliver toolbox talks.
  • Update, track and improve quality within the team.
  • Carry out audits to confirm adherence to quality procedures.
  • Manage capacity in line within targets.
  • Check and monitor WIP in accordance with the plan.
  • Perform WIP/Stock checks.
  • Ensure the skills matrix is current and effectively deployed.
  • Deliver training as required.
  • Report relevant people issues to the production manager.
  • Update and check TMS on a daily basis.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:


  • Experience in a similar position is required.
  • A selfstarter, with a proven ability for working with mínimal supervision and taking ownership of driving activities through to completion.
  • Good interpersonal skills and can communicate with people at all levels.
  • Can work with all teams ensuring they are working to the correct standards.
  • Help and support others where needed.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • The ability to analyse data and identify trends.
