Position Summary:


The Process Operator is vital part of the operations team that is required to ensure the correct handling and processing of Customers product in line with their requirements and adheres to company, quality and regulatory standards.

Process operators will be expected to embrace a lean culture, align with the companies vision, mission and values.


Duties:


  • Ensure processing of all products is in line with Customer expectations and meets processing parameters.
  • Ensure all tasks given to the Process Operator are completed to the expected high standard and prioritized in the most efficient manner.
  • Any issues discovered during processing to be reported to line manager and correct procedures followed.
  • Adehre to quality system procedures, Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Embrace the Safety, Lean and Continuous Improvement Culture on site and help promote all these values.
  • Ensure you are wearing correct PPE at all times and challenge any incorrect use of PPE on site.
  • Report any near misses or incidents and ensure the site is in a safe condition at all times.

Duties - cont'd:


  • Work with the team to help maintain and drive 5s standards within the site, using lean principles according to STERIS standards.
  • Undertake any training required of yourself by Shift Supervisor or any of the site management.
  • Support site iniatives with a proactive approach and a 'can do' attitude.
  • Ensure all nonconforming product is identified, documented and segregated through the quarantine process.
  • Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned.

Education Degree:


  • High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience:


  • A good attention to detail and able to follow procedures
  • Able to follow instructions
  • Able to work well in a team or on their own
  • Good level of written and spoken English
Able to complete documentation clearly and accurately
