SCHOOL VACANCY
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspirational and highly effective teacher to lead our thriving, ambitious English Faculty.

We are seeking a passionate and committed individual to build on current success and drive forward our talented team of English teachers.

The English department currently comprises five full time and three part time teachers. Alongside Head of Faculty, there is a Second in Faculty position.

There is a wealth and variety of experience within the team, as well as two colleagues newer to the profession.

Millthorpe is a popular and successful school rooted in its community close to the heart of the historic city of York.

You will be a joining a warm, inclusive and motivated team of over 100 colleagues.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

We require the successful applicant to undertake an enhanced Criminal Record check via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
