We are very pleased to announce an exciting training opportunity for Paediatric Trainees at ST3 and above at East Surrey Hospital.

The 12-month fellowship includes 60% protected training time in Paediatric cardiology and the remainder in acute paediatrics.


The fellowship is aimed to provide structed training to achieve competencies for RCPCH Special interest Module (SPIN) in Paediatric cardiology.

During the 12 months, the trainee will be supported to gain skills in Congenital echocardiography and work towards a formal qualification in Paediatric echocardiography.

The trainee will attend various paediatric cardiology clinics at East Surrey Hospital working alongside two Paediatricians with Expertise in cardiology.

The trainee will also be supported by the echophysiologists.

The trainee is required to attend training sessions in Paediatric cardiology at Royal Brompton Hospital under supervision of Dr Naqvi, Paediatric Cardiologist.

The trainee is also needed to work on a project that should be completed within 12 months.
