Community Psychiatric Rehabilitation Team Secretary


An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Community Psychiatric Rehabilitation Service for a self-motivated, highly organised, adaptable, and enthusiastic individual to join our service as a Team Secretary.


As well as having effective organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, it is essential that the applicant is able to prioritise work, handle difficult situations and have a flexible approach to working as part of a team.

You should be able to integrate well with the existing team, be flexible in supporting the functions of the team and have a genuine desire to contribute to providing a quality service for patients.


The post holder should also demonstrate a caring and sensitive approach to their work and be able to clearly communicate with colleagues, patients, carers, the general members of the public and representatives from other hospital and organisations.


The Community Rehabilitation team provides a service across the whole county of Cornwall supporting people recovering from complex and enduring mental health issues.

Our community resource offers a service specific pathway for patients residing at Fettle rehabilitation ward.

The service also advocates discharges from the acute inpatient wards, this supports the individual to resume/establish independent lives outside of the hospital setting.

Bodmin Hospital has on-site car park which offers free staff parking.

This post is working 37.5 hours per week, working Monday-Friday with the flexibility of hybrid working.
