We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and driven individual to join our growing recruitment team as a
Recruitment Officer.

Salary:£23,000 per annum

Location:Tyneside Office
  • NE3 (Regent Centre)

Contract: Permanent full-time role (37.5hrs per week)

Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Additions:25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays (33 days) - 40p per mile for travel to other sites

As a
Recruitment Officer for
Be Caring you will co-ordinate the recruitment processes of the Learning Disabilities department at our Tyneside Office in Newcastle


Duties and tasks include:

  • Supporting effective endtoend recruitment,
  • Ensuring we recruit and appoint highquality valuesdriven individuals
  • Supporting our colleagues on their journey with Be Caring and living our organisation values.

Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a recruitment role is beneficial but not essential
  • Previous experience working within a Learning Disabilities role would be a strong advantage and help you to recruit for LIFE
  • Experience in working effectively with others, demonstrating excellent communication and engagement skills
  • Proven record of accomplishment working within a fastpaced environment with exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.

The Role
As a
Recruitment Officer, you will be responsible for the following:


1.


Recruitment Activities:


  • Working with the departmental management team and organisation Recruitment Manager to understand recruitment needs and ensure job adverts meet these needs.

2. Ad-hoc duties

  • Attending career fairs and increasing our community visibility
  • Developing our social media presence working with the team to get the most out of using social media and being an active presence.
  • All recruitment team members work together to create a dynamic and wellmanaged department. This means you may have to occasionally take on reasonable tasks outside the normal scope of your role, however, such tasks will come with the support of the Recruitment Manager.
