Field Based Trainee Electrical/Mechanical Improver

£22,000 - £24,000 per annum (Negotiable depending on experience)

Manchester - Field Based
gap technical are looking to recruit a Field Based Electrical/Mechanical Improver/Engineer, the client specialises in lorry loaders cranes or similar


Performance Objectives

  • Support the Field Based Engineer thorough examinations of lorry loader cranes and other hydraulic loading equipment's to loler standard Fault diagnostics (mechanical and electrical) Completion of all paperwork thoroughly and accurately Carry out repair work required on site where possible

Person Specification

  • Experience within Cranes/FLT/Plant (advantageous)
  • Computer literacy
  • Electrical / Mechanical current training or recently completed
  • Full driving licence (ESSENTIAL) sites across a usual covering up to 2 hour radius
  • Happy to work away from home weekdays occasionally may require overnight stay with hotels paid for by client as and when need arises
  • Totally customer focused
  • Strong and flexible team player essential
  • Excellent communication skill
