Our client is seeking a part-time Housekeeper for their residence in Newmarket.

The house is not in constant use - the family come into residence for just a few weeks of the year but are looking for someone to keep standards up in their absence.

The main house consists of four bedrooms, there is also a guest house.

Duties include:

General housekeeping and thorough house cleaning
Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, including silverware, antiques, and tableware/cutlery
Changing bed linen in preparation for family visits
Reporting problems
Meeting/greeting contractors
Care of fine furnishings/surfaces
Maintaining stocks of household supplies

Due to the location of the residence, you would need to be a driver.

Ideally looking for 2 full days per week (around 16-20 hours per week) but the client is flexible as to when these days are.

Flexibility to do extra hours when the family visit would be desirable but not essential.

Salary:
please present your hourly rate.
