Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver


A&C North West Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client based in Altham for the position of Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver.


Responsibilities of a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver:

  • Executing warehouse activities as assigned by the Operations Supervisor
  • Unloading and booking in incoming goods
  • Preparing and loading stock for dispatch
  • Coordinating materials in and out of external storage
  • Picking materials for production as per travellers
  • Maintaining stock accuracy throughout the warehouse
  • Sustaining a high level of housekeeping
  • Following all Health and Safety procedures at all times

Experience required for this role:

  • Valid FLT licence
  • An awareness of Health and Safety at Work
  • Quality and Environmental procedures
  • Strong communication, computer, training and motivational skills
  • The ability to multi task and work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Flexible in working time if required to meet the needs of the business

Details:

  • Salary £10.90 per hour
  • Hours 8am4.30pm Monday-Friday
  • Overtime available
