We have an exciting opportunity within a very successful, positive and vibrant service, for an experienced PA looking for their next opportunity.


As our PA, you will work closely with the Children's Leadership team, which comprises our General Management team and our Children's Matrons.

It is an exciting time for Children's Services. We are currently redeveloping the Ipswich Children's Department through a significant capital investment with work underway until 2024.


We are also planning the redevelopment of the Colchester Neonatal Unit and have also recently opened a Young Persons Unit at Colchester so it is a really exciting time to join us.

This role is based at Colchester Hospital.

Though there may be some cross site working required, this will be limited as we utilise technology to facilitate cross site working wherever possible.


Some of the key responsibilities for this role will be to organise diaries, facilitate meetings and produce meeting notes, and maintain our action logs to ensure that we are able to keep on track with progress in the service.


Other tasks will also include the collation of staffing rota information, and also the ordering of stock and equipment for the service.


The ideal applicants will be an experienced PA or experienced secretary who will produce service documentation to a high standard.

As the post holder will work within a large clinical service, excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be required.
