The Royal Borough of Greenwich are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Adviser to join our dynamic team.The HR Adviser will play a key role in providing guidance, support, and interpretation of HR policies, processes, and procedures to managers within the organization.
This role will involve handling a variety of challenging and fast-paced casework, including sickness absence, performance management, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
Additionally, the HR Adviser will provide valuable administrative support for transformational organizational reviews, contributing to positive change across the Royal Borough.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Handle a range of employee relations casework, including sickness absence, performance management, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support and implement organizational change initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations throughout all HR activities.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records in HR databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Support the HR team in the delivery of strategic HR projects and initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with a diverse audience, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, meeting challenging deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in an HR advisory role, with a strong background in employee relations/casework and organizational change.
- Indepth knowledge of HR policies, processes, and employment legislation.
- Familiarity with HR databases and systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to provide practical solutions.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
Working Arrangements:
This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, with a requirement to be in the office for at least 2-3 days per week.
Face-to-face interviews will be conducted for all applicants.Job Types:

Contract length: 3-6 months
Salary:
£15.25-£16.00 per hour
