Description
Fund Accounting

  • Assist with the quarterly fund bookkeeping, management accounts and investor reporting.
  • Prepare capital call and distribution notices.
  • Reconcile the fund bank accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual accounts and audit.
  • Ensure compliance through timely reporting to the external depositary.
Accounts Payable/Receivable

  • Responsible for management of accounts payable function across the organisation.
  • Obtain authorisation, and organise for payment, supplier invoices and employee expenses.
  • Principal point of contact for customers and suppliers and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Set up and review weekly Fund and Corporate payments.
  • Monitor and manage bank platform, performing bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly invoices and manage these from preparation to settlement of balances.
  • Manage employee expense system.

Skills

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or partqualified, with previous experience in bookkeeping or accounts payable role.
  • Previous experience with Private Equity Fund Accounting is desirable.
  • Knowledge of online banking, accounting software and Excel is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise different workstreams and take ownership of tasks.
