We are currently working in partnership with a worldwide developer and manufacturer of premium, high quality lateral flow tests to recruit for a number of Packing Operatives in the Sand Hutton area of York.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a well-established team for temporary on going work.

Please be advised that this company is located to the North East of York, please check your distance and method of travel between your home and the Sand Hutton area before applying.

Details:

Monday to Friday 8am until 4pm (early finish of 1.30pm on Friday)
From May the shifts may change to days/afters rotation or regular evenings we will discuss this with you
37.5 hours per week
Free onsite parking
Temporary ongoing work

- £ £11.80 per hour, dependent on experience, with further increase after 12 weeks

Overtime paid after 37.5 hours, time and half Saturday, double time Sunday
Onsite canteen and fully equipped kitchen

Duties

You will work within a small team of up to 15 people where you will do a variety of the below
Following of instructions for the assembly of Lateral Flow devices
To dispense buffer solutions for use in testing into containers/ tubes whilst following instructions
Put together full testing kits to be shipped out to customers, this may include following a checklist to ensure all items required for the testing are packaged and sent out together
Despatch of products, including labelling and packing
Quality inspection of the product

The person

Must be numerate and literate
Have experience working within a busy warehouse/ factory environment
Must have a keen eye for detail
Must be happy with repetitive work

This is temporary ongoing work, further down the line contracts may be on offer but at present it is not known therefore you must be happy to start in a temp role.
