We are currently seeking experienced Warehouse Operatives who are proud of the role they play, passionate about being the very best version of themselves and determined to achieve by going the extra mile every day.

This role will be based in Tilbury, all applicants must be able to commit to working a shift of 0800 to 1800hr Monday to Friday.

This role is work with Unilux, who are suppliers of Luxury Goods for the Uniserve Group.

Due to the nature of the contract you will be required to have an enhanced DBS. If you do not already one this be requested at no charge to yourself.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Carry out duties assigned by the Supervisor to assist with warehouse inbound and outbound deliveries
  • Unloading goods by hand, with trolleys or forklift trucks.
  • Taking delivery of goods and signing the delivery notes or receipts.
  • Checking goods for missing or damaged items.
  • Assist the Supervisor to coordinate and manage the warehouse operation process to ensure accurate stock management for the achievement of the contractual KPI's, this includes sorting and placing stock in the appropriate location, whilst maintaining inventory controls.
  • Carrying out stock control on a regular basis.
  • Undertaking various warehouse tasks through coordination of picking, packing, replenishment, returns & locating of stock, enabling the achievement of Excellent Customer Service.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by keeping shelves, workstations and walkways clear.
  • Wear appropriate safety equipment.
  • Ensure all equipment which is used is done so in a safe manner and checked daily for faults. Make the Supervisor aware of any repair/service required for the equipment.
  • Ensure that all warehouse operations are conducted in a safe method in accordance with health and safety policy.
  • Ensure compliance with all operating procedures.
  • Maintaining records of all goods on the WMS.
  • Alert the Supervisor to low levels of Packing Material.
  • Undertake additional training as implemented by the company.
