We are actively seeking an Evening/Weekend Shift Leader for our fast paced Taxi Office.

Previous experience in shift leading a bonus


This position is a PERMANENT role of around 30 hours per week with potential for more hours when cover required.


We are looking for the right person to join our team that is able to commit to a minimum of 3 or 4 shifts per week.

We are a 24/7 business and run 365 days per year so flexibility is required.


Most shifts will be evening, weekends and/or overnight if the applicant is suitable.
-
Flexibility to cover day shifts is also required._


Duties will include:

  • Taking telephone calls from customers and taxi drivers.
  • Data input into our computer systems.
  • Taking immediate and advanced bookings, including out of town trips.
  • Taking payments from customers.
  • Dealing with customer enquiries & complaints.
  • General office duties.

It is ESSENTIAL that you can type quickly

  • Clear telephone voice.
  • Confident and polite telephone manner.
  • The ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
  • Excellent computer and keyboard skills.
  • Excellent customer care skills.
  • The ability to deal with difficult calls in a calm and professional manner.
  • An awareness of confidentiality issues.
  • Good timekeeping and reliability.
  • Positive attitude towards work.
  • The ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Good knowledge of the Blackpool and Fylde area is essential.
Meets national minimum wage.

Bonuses available for working unsociable hours.
