Express Recruitment are proud to be working with one of the UKs largest suppliers, who are well respected in their industry.

Due to exciting international expansion plans, our client is urgently seeking an initiative taking Project Manager to head up a warehouseoperation implementation project in Bangalore, India.

In return, you will receive a competitive salaried rate of up to £55k, plus fully expensed travel, accommodation and daily food allowances.

Roles & Responsibilities

Work closely with the Head of Programmes to ensure implementation and all on site operations are completed within a timely manner and meet company compliance standards
Meet with wider team members to determine full project scope and ensure all parties fully understand the project brief prior to start
Implement relevant project delivery methodologies to ensure a smooth process and seamless delivery
Consult key stakeholders frequently to ensure communication is maintained and wider project support team is made aware of any proposed amendments
Champion continuous improvement methods on site and drive the need to instil a zerodefect culture
Collaborate with relevant parties to implement JDE ERP system and ensure all documentation is set up and recorded correctly
Collaborate with the Head of Programmes to review cost plans and ensure budgets are kept within agreed parameters
Ensure detailed handovers are actioned during arrival and departure to and from Bangalore to maintain awareness of current project progress
Promote safety first culture and ensure on site team comply with Health & Safety legislation, Data Protection policies, Environmental legislation and Employee policies
Overseeing import/export regulatory activity and ensure international trade compliance standards are maintained

Qualifications & Experience

Project Management and Prince 2 Certified highly desirable
Ability to handle pressure and work to tight deadlines
Full UK passport essential
Proven experience in leading a sole project from concept to completion
Previous experience within the aerospace, rail, automotive or industrial sectors
Demonstrable user knowledge of ERP/MRP/WMS systems a distinct advantage

IT literate

MS Office packages, CRMs and associated project management software
Confident contract negotiation skills
Stakeholder management experience
Experience in international trade law compliance
