Subject Matter Expert - Migrations


Design, develop, implement and manage information technology including hardware, software and networks to facilitate customer migrations and enhance data maturity within the business.

Implement or advocate for short
- and long-term information technology (IT) solutions that meet the needs of the organisation.


Your responsibilities:

  • Supports TTG in understanding industry practices and engagement with Technology.
  • Provides expertise and guidance on migration and datarelated activities.
  • Works with the TTG internal teams and vendors to establish delivery standards.
  • Works with team members and the wider business to enhance and develop best practices alongside propagating an understanding of the services inherent in the TT business.
  • Communicates, engages, and collaborates with a variety of stakeholders from senior management down to adjacent teams to understand key business questions & initiatives so that appropriate solutions can be created to deliver required business outcomes.
To be successful in this role


Must have:

  • Outstanding understanding of Data and Business systems that enable the delivery of saleable services.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of leadership.
  • Ability to identify issues and set priorities.
  • Pragmatic approach to solution design (making use of what is available to deliver business outcomes).
  • An understanding of Data, its uses, modelling and its importance to a business.
  • A willingness and ability to propagate knowledge to enrich the wider business understanding.

Be great to also have:

  • A background in software development
  • A background in any, or a combination, of cybernetics, Control engineering, Process control or Data Science.
  • Understanding of commercials and finances
  • Experience working with external vendors
  • Outstanding understanding of telecoms and Broadband services
