An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior administrator to join this busy, friendly and supportive Orthotics department at NUH, the role will mainly be based at the QMC site but cross site working may be required.

Applicants will need to be organised, enthusiastic and dedicated with excellent computer skills. The role is Monday to Friday, between 8am and 4.30pm.

Main duties of the job

The primary role is to provide an administrative service to the department.

Day to day tasks involve booking patient appointments, processing orders for orthotic devices, preparing clinics, processing invoices, establishing and maintaining admin systems/databases, organising timetables and answering queries from suppliers and clinicians.

These roles are shared between all the members of this supportive team, making each day different. Experience of using clinical IT systems (such as Nervecentre or CareFlow) is desirable. Competence in Microsoft Office software including MS Word, Excel and Outlook are essential.

The role is clerical and varied. All processes are digital so excellent IT skills is a must. Ideas for change an improvement are encouraged. Salary:
The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
