Reporting to the Manufacturing Leader the Manufacturing Supervisor will form part of the team responsible for directing and coordinating activities across the manufacturing process, safety, quality, training, volume, item and financial performance.


Your tasks:

  • Responsible for the operational performance of shifts through optimising resources and attainment of production targets in terms of volume, mix, quality, service and cost.
  • Working closely with the Production Scheduler/Supply Chain to develop an effective production schedule, which is understood and clearly communicated. Working with procurement and production planning to ensure material is available to meet agreed schedule.
  • Responsible for all people issues across shift including absence control, discipline and grievance handling. Full support for this will be given through the Human Resources Department as required.
  • Responsible for establishing a clear communication policy across shifts by communicating relevant business information to all associates, delivery of team brief and ensuring consistent feedback to Business Team. Ensuring an effective shift handover takes place.
  • Shift Leaders will work closely with Operational Team Leaders offering guidance, support, direction and training and development, as appropriate, Liaising with respective Business Team members.
  • Responsible for ensuring all safety and GMP standards are adhered to across all shifts. Responsible for coordinating Technical, Quality and Manufacturing resources across shift to ensure optimum performance.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned. Individuals have the authority to execute all responsibilities detailed within their job description and any procedures or processes in C2C or otherwise.
