The Role:
Experience Designer
UI/UX Designer/Front End Developer
We are seeking a "UI/UX Designer/Front Developer" with the right blend of graphic design skills and web development knowledge to help us create bespoke solutions for our clients.
There will be significant focus on working in a cross-functional team of other technologists, experience designers, investment professionals and proposition experts within the Innovation Hub as well as wider business.
It is expected that the role holder willwork closely with our FinTech partners.Key Responsibilities for this role:
- Lead the UI/UX design, prototyping and frontend development of our solutions.
- Design & Develop product templates for the visual/experience aspects of our apps (dashboards, UIs, platforms etc).
- Set a framework for great, appealing and interactive design patterns that we can continuously reuse in our solutions.
- Build and maintain a strong network with key stakeholders across the business.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Significant demonstrable experience (5+ years) designing frontend solutions for end users.
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML
- Software engineering knowhow coupled with some expertise in software development frameworks (like React, Angular etc.)
- Exposure to data visualisation tools like Spotfire, Power BI or equivalent.
- Strong relationship building skills. Build partnerships with your stakeholders as you try to understand their needs and couple that with slick user experience.
- Some exposure to financial markets & asset management and wealth management processes
