Our client are currently looking for an apprentice to work as a processing assistant in their office just outside of St Albans.
Overview:
You must be enthusiastic, have excellent communication and IT skills and be confident in your own abilities.
The Order Processing Assistant will be joining a great team of people that manages food and drink products that are found in major supermarkets and wholesalers.
Main responsibilities:
- Working closely with clients and brands manager to facilitate the timely processing of Amazon and ecommerce orders
- Processing client orders on a daily basis
- Being the main contact person for clients and managing their products
- Working closely with finance to ensure correct pricing of products
- Working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure that client deliveries are correctly scheduled
- Effectively communicating with clients and dealing with any potential issues should they arise
- Monitor designated client accounts, reporting any errors or issues to the operations manager
- Producing weekly and monthly reports to assist finance and operations manager
- A small element of administrative duties as required
What we are looking for:
Essential skills and attributes:
- Knowledge of Amazon vendor and seller systems
- Knowledge of how ecommerce systems work
- An enthusiastic individual with excellent attention to detail
- Experience working in an order / data processing environment would be beneficial
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and datadriven environment
Entry requirements:
The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)

Salary:
£15,000 - £18,000 per annum
Future prospects:
92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.

QA's apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.
To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
