Description
Berry Recruitment are looking for a Procurement Analyst to work for our client in Healthcare.


This is a role that would suit someone who likes flexability with a 35 hour week and 2 days in the office and someone with at least 1 to 2 years analytical experience in a commercial environment.


Job summary :
Provide high quality analytical support to the Procurement Manager


Key responsibilities:

  • Producing detailed spend analysis reports, and identify tender/sourcing opportunities
  • Analysing supplier proposals, and presenting them in a clear manner to the Procurement Manager, unafraid to use the insight you generate to challenge the status quo
  • Highlighting any areas of concern with regard to supplier performance, and flagging to the Procurement Manager
  • Working with key suppliers to ensure spend data is uploaded into Power BI, and using the software when producing insight into spend trends (e.g. at a home level)
  • Maintaining an accurate supplier contract log, and supplier & product data files
  • Developing a robust and effective analytical solution for procurement projects

Non-specific:

  • Providing reports and insight whilst working to tight deadlines and managing expectations
  • Being proactive in challenging and correcting inaccurate information e.g. when analysing KPIs, ensuring that figures aren't simply taken at face value
  • Communicating well, and developing effective relationships both internally and with suppliers
  • Support the business with adhoc requests
