About the role


This is an exciting new role as a Policy Officer (Inclusion and Inequality) at Dementia UK, where you will play a crucial role in driving our long-term policy and influencing strategy in alignment with our strategic plan.

As a member of our dedicated Policy, Campaigns, and Public Affairs team, you will focus on developing impactful initiatives that address inclusion and inequalities within underserved communities.


In this role, you will be responsible for conducting expert policy research and analysis, serving as a leading authority on public policy issues impacting individuals with dementia, their carers, and loved ones.

A key aspect of your role will involve advocating for improved inclusive and equitable care for individuals from underserved communities.

You will actively work towards securing legislative and policy enhancements, while closely monitoring and analysing policy developments at the central, devolved, and local government levels.

Additionally, you will identify opportunities for action and collaborate closely with colleagues across the Policy, Campaigns, and Public Affairs team to advance Dementia UK's campaigning and influencing efforts related to inclusion and inequalities within underserved communities.
