Summary
The MEA Sales Director is the conductor of the company's revenue engine in their assigned region.

They create and nurtures high performance sales team, and lead it to hit revenue and product mix forecasts while achieving profitability goals and maintaining the highest levels customer satisfaction.


The main objective of this position is to meet company revenue targets through his/her own activity and the activities of the team.

In other words, to drive sales force productivity and extracting the best performance from each individual employee.


Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Achieving objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing data on past performance, and projecting future performance
  • Successfully managing existing accounts and developing new ones.
  • Proving track record of accomplishments in building key accounts with increased penetration.
  • Providing on time & keeping uptodate reports, statistics and forecasts every month, utilizing Salesforce CRM system
  • Securing & increasing the business in our current and future markets
  • Improving the pipeline and proposal development capture rate
  • Providing clear and definitive leadership / vision in building the sales team organization
  • Manage and develop a team of inside sales people to generate leads to call and qualify leads to opportunity
  • Motivating and advising the team to improve its performance
  • Coaching the team to create value and delivery in the sales process
  • Ensuring that the team works cross Business Units with other Sales Teams and Executives
  • Collaborating with other managers through team building and strategic planning to increase sales results
  • Representing the company at trade shows and/or visiting exhibitions
  • Recommending program improvements and process efficiencies

  • Familiarity and experience selling through channel partnerships in the Middle East and Africa region.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close, to think strategically, synthesize complex business and financial data and develop innovative solutions
  • Excellent planning, organizational and leadership capabilities
  • Flexible and highly motivated, proactive & autonomous
  • Focused on customer needs and satisfaction creating added value
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills

Education and/or Experience

  • University degree in business/marketing or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Successful previous experience as a sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Knowledge and market success in the secure identity industry
  • Minimum of 8 years' industry related experience required, preferably in sales channel management
  • Prior leadership experience giving coaching and guidance to a commercial team

Language Skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.

Computer Skills

  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
