RVA Surveyors are Business Rates reduction specialists based in Denton (Greater Manchester).

Formed in 2008 we support businesses throughout England and Wales to reduce their business rates liability alongside other business cost savings.

To date we have been appointed by over 47,000 properties and saved over £350 million for our clients.

We have an 85% success rate at Check Challenge Appeal & Audit where almost 50% of all cases have been settled inside 4 weeks.

All of this on a No Reduction No Fee basis.

The role_

RVA Surveyors are looking at least one Senior Surveyor to join, lead and continue to develop our successful team of surveyors whilst working alongside the senior management team, helping the continued businesses growth and deliver meaningful reductions to our clients.

This role offers great career progression opportunities with a clear pathway for the right individual to become Head of Surveying and Associate Director roles in the future.

Expectations

Working in unison our Head of Surveying & Operations to lead and develop and grow our existing team of 12 surveyors (including 2 mentors)
Manage your own caseload.
Support the mentors with their teams caseload.
Support the development of the surveyors and Surveyor Mentors
Support our team of Auditors.
Support Business Development

Requirements / Skills_

Expert knowledge of Business Rates the Check Challenge Appeal process
Empty property rates
Landlord & Tennant rent review.
Valuations
Management / Team leader experience
Strong communication skills both verbal & written.
Should be confident, assertive and sociable individual.
Commercially astute with an entrepreneurial attitude toward business
Driven to continuously improve customer experience and service.
Good IT skills including knowledge of rating software such as Riverlake & Analyze
Full Driving License it essential
Must be able to travel and complete overnight stays where required
