About The Role:

You will be responsible for managing a successful team of Security Officers ensuring that:
  • Both initial and continual training is completed as well as working alongside the security management team to create and ensure that departmental training packages are up to date and in line with current policies
  • They are enforcing rules and regulations to ensure we always have a safe and secure site and that they too are following them
  • They are carrying out all duties both preexisting, new and adhoc in an efficient and effective manner

Individual Duties:


  • Monitoring, repairing (where possible), and reporting any issues with security/ departmental equipment
  • Responding to, and escalating incidents and alarm activation's
  • Carry out FPOS duties, drug and alcohol testing and other duties as deemed necessary for the sustained operation of the gatehouse
  • Create, monitor, and grade quarterly bonus objectives for each individual officer
  • Ensure the officer Rota and attendance systems are up to date and holidays are approved in a timely manner whilst also making sure the correct staffing levels are maintained
  • In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood ad adhere to polices and procedure relating to Health and Safety and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document

About You:


Desired Skills and Knowledge:


  • Previous experience in the security industry is necessary
  • SIA Preferable but not a necessity
  • Proficient with computers
  • Full and clean category B driving licence
  • Selfmotivated, hands on and thorough
  • Target driven and ability to deliver on target without constant supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and pass on new skills
